The Columbia Gorge 48 Hour Film Project is a short film competition where teams are given a set of rules and are sent off to plan/shoot/edit and turn in a completed 4 to 7 min short film in only 48 hours.
June 20th @ 5:30 - Launch Meeting
Teams will meet in the theater at Columbia Center for the Arts in Hood River, OR. There they will be presented with the rules and requirements for this years film project. They will also pick up their team packet containing items needed to complete their films.
June 20th @ 6:00 - Competition Starts
The conclusion of the launch meeting marks the official start to the competition.
June 22nd @ 6:00 - Films are Due
Finished films will be physically turned in back at Columbia Center for the Arts.
June 24th @ 6:00 - Films are Judged
All Films will be showcased for a panel of judges and scored based on given criteria.
Junes 25th - Showcase winners announced
The teams of the top 15 films will be given notice that their films will be presented at the showcase for a chance at awards and prizes.
June 28th @ 7:30 - Showcase
The top 15 films will be showcased followed by an awards ceremony.
