THE ROAD GETTING HERE...
Like many others, my journey into video work began back when I was in High School. Before I ever picked up a camcorder of any kind a group of girls we were friends with made a spoof video of Charlie's Angel's. The premise was that they were on a mission to retrieve a pair of underwear from a buddy of mine. For Christmas, unbeknownst to the rest of us, the girls had us watch the video and then gave my buddy back his underwear in the form of a nicely wrapped Christmas present.

After that Christmas we set off to make a video that was to be our response back to the girls for the one they had made. It was to be a Day in the Life of us guys. It started with a video of me singing to a rubber ducky in the shower...that's as far as we got.
"I will survive" by Gloria Gaynor
was the song that I sang
Even though our genius "A Day in the Life" video never made it past my embarassing rubber ducky scene, we did go on to film music videos, MTV's Jackass-esque stunts, and other random stuff from our days together back in High School.

After High School I set off to Oregon State University to get a degree in Finance. During my time there my roomates and I took a Producers class that was offered by the school so as to be certified by the media arts department to check out video equipment to make videos for the campus TV station. It wasn't long after that we started in making "The Jota Show" which was a 30 minute sketch comedy show with bits of artisic videos sprinkled in... Basically any idea we had we put it in the show.
